New! Organic Herbal Oils

With a growing interest in using all natural and chemical free products, New Directions is pleased to introduce two new organic oils: Arnica Organic and Calendula Organic.



Arnica Organic Herbal Oil

Organic Arnica Herbal Oil is popularly used to treat a wide range of conditions, including bruises, sore muscles, sprains, inflammation, arthritis, insect bites, aches and pains. It is also believed to have pain reducing properties. When used as massage oil, users can expect it to be easily absorbed by the skin, and to be an overall soothing experience.
Organic Arnica is widely used in formulations to manufacture creams, ointments and tinctures. It can also used to make compresses and poultices for sore muscles.



Calendula Organic Herbal Oil

Also called “pot marigold”, organic Calendula Herbal Oil has long been recognized for use homeopathic preparations in order to restore health. It is said to have antioxidant, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and regenerating properties, and has been proven to aid in wound healing. Combined with olive oil, it becomes an excellent salve even for serious burns, bruises, cuts and diaper rash. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, organic Calendula Oil can be used to ease the inflammation of the lesions and slow the spread of the eczema and psoriasis.
Organic Calendula oil is widely used in formulations to manufacture creams, ointments, tinctures, cosmetics, shampoo and baby wipes. Organic Calendula has soothing and skin softening properties, and is considered a good choice when preparing a massage oil blend with other carrier and essential oils.
